  Villa Celeste was such a perfect place, we stayed in the Romantic Villa and it was so cute. The little kitchen was fully stocked with snacks, water, wine and beer... read more all free of charge. So very nice. The little patio outside the villa is private just for you, with a little door straight to the water where you can take a kayak or paddle board out on the sea. Fabio was such an amazing host as well, he went above and beyond for us. He texted me the day before with extremely helpful videos on how to check in and where to park if you rented a car. He was very responsive, within minutes, if we had any questions during our stay. He is also a very charismatic guy, super funny and easy to talk to.
Something to consider if you are driving yourself in, the road is pretty bumpy and unpaved but nothing too crazy!

Keep in mind that a lot of tourist boats park by the beach to let people enjoy it at all hours of the day : but when something is so beautiful, it’s only normal that everyone wants to enjoy it. The location was private but 4 restaurants near by, walking distance. The beach Cala Bernat is just outside, pass through the rocks and that place is so beautiful. Not many people know about it, so it’s peaceful and secluded with beautiful views.

The sunset, the beautiful views and the soothing waves was everything and more during our stay. The Airbnb was also equipped with everything we needed. To name a few; aircon, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, bbq, outside table, lounge chairs, snorkelling gear, shared gym… We were also met by Fabio, who was wonderfully kind and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. He saw we struggled with getting lunch (due to the... read more season and restaurant closures, parking availability, etc during certain hours) and immediately gave us his freshly bought groceries! He was readily available for any questions. His place is located in the most ideal spot with endless breathtaking views. Words can’t describe how amazing it was. Like to the point I didn’t even care to go to a restaurant with views because ours right from the airbnb could not be topped. The rental may be small inside, but the pictures shown for the listing depict that and it also helps keep it much cooler than larger rentals. So in this case of a late July trip, the smaller the better! Overall, being able to walk a few steps and be in the sea or climb down a rock to a beach a few feet away was an unforgettable experience I’ll cherish FOREVER. I don’t think there is a better place to stay in Cagliari.

Every morning and evening, we enjoyed sitting out on the sea wall with our coffee or wine taking in the scenery. The stunning beach, just steps away, was perfect for swimming and watching the sunset—absolutely incredible. We found it hard to leave the villa, even though downtown Cagliari was less than 10 minutes away, because it was so beautiful and serene.

As avid hikers, we were thrilled to discover a trail right outside the villa that led us to breathtaking views of Sella del Diavolo. The scenery and coastline was spectacular.

Fabio, the host, was exceptional—friendly and full of fantastic recommendations. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the Cagliari area. It’s a true gem!
